Sinochem News On September 14, the 2017 Green Fine Chemical Technology and New Product Exchange Conference hosted by the Fine Chemical Industry Professional Committee of the Chinese Chemical Industry Society, the Shaanxi Petrochemical Research and Design Institute and the Northwest Chemical Research Institute was held in Xi'an.
And more than 200 experts and scholars from relevant domestic research institutes, universities and enterprises attended the meeting to exchange the latest developments in scientific and technological innovation and industrial development of the fine chemical industry, and to discuss new products, new technologies, new equipment and new processes that support the transformation and upgrading of the fine chemical industry.
Wu Zhenyi, chairman of the Fine Chemical Industry Professional Committee of the China Chemical Industry Association and chief engineer of the General Research Institute of Chemical Science and Technology of Sinochem, told reporters that the green chemical industry is facing an unprecedented environmental protection, safety and high pressure situation, and only through independent innovation, accelerating the research and development of new products and new technologies, and building a high-end green chemical industry can it adapt to the requirements of the situation and promote China to move from a fine chemical country to a strong country.
The Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Xi'an Institute of Modern Chemistry, and the Shaanxi University of Science and Technology respectively exchanged views on the progress of methanol conversion technology, the green and efficient synthesis of fluorine-containing special chemicals, and the research and application of nanocomposites in the development and application of leather chemicals. In addition to the conference report, two sub-venues were set up, including catalytic technology and new synthesis processes, oilfield chemicals and special water treatment agents.
